Infinite Banking Testimonial

Some time after becoming familiar with "Being Your Own Banker" I said "I didn't know I could get a raise at this time in my life." However, it did come about. After following Ray Poteet and Ricky Heard's suggestions on using the money you have in your life insurance policies, I was able to use about $95,000.00 to purchase a small housing addition. After purchasing the property I then sold the lots at 10% interest. I also financed some additional items such as septic systems, etc. for additional income.

So then, an old man can get a raise! We should not overlook what helped bring this about. If someone had not talked to Ricky, and Ricky to me, this probably would not have come about. THANKS YOU GUYS!!! It does show the importance of meeting and talking. That will help ALL of us.

My name is Sherry and my husband is Johnny. We own a water well business located near Garrison. I was introduced to "The Infinite Banking Concept" in the middle of 2005. I have always welcomed ideas and sources that would make the most of our hard earned money. Like many of you, we went through the rough and tumble of the stock market in the early 2000's. Every since then, our goal has been to find out better ways to make the most of what we have earned. I am very thankful for Ricky Heard introducing this new concept to us.

I took the first step by borrowing against our policy when I was able to last year. We had two trucks that I paid off at the bank, then refinanced through our personal bank. In seven months time, I have borrwed against our policy three other times. I took money we had set aside in another financial institution, paid a certain amount back to our policy, borrowed from our policy the amount needed, and then personally financed the equipment we bought. We now have four note payments going directly back to the policy earning interest to us, not another financial institution.

I personally set up each note using an amortization schedule and financing as long as we like just like it would be at the bank.

Our goal is to acquire total financial freedom from the traditional bank. We a still a little ways off, but we a whitlling away at a steady pace.

Right now I'm using my bank to simply pay off a business credit card. In only just a couple of months I've made over $500.00, with just that one loan.

My short term goal is to put in a minimum of $1,000.00 per month into my bank (life policy). Eventually having the cash flow to rollover auto loans and my mortgage, but, probably a new ATV will come first!

For long term my ideas for the bank are retirement, kids college and anything else where I can use my money to make money.

I understand that this new concept is a long term process and that everyone's situation is different, business or personal. Keep an open mind and this concept will work at any level and under any circumstance.

In September, 2005, Hurricane Rita struck our house and did extensive damage to both the exterior and interior of our home.
