Mize, opened Mize Department Store in 1925, and were known for their tailored suits and women’s wear throughout East Texas. After 80 years of serving East Texas with quality clothing and unbeatable service, Mize Department Store closed its doors. The building remained vacant until November 2010, when Ricky and Leslie Heard saw a diamond in the rough. After a long year of construction and updating, CBH Insurance Agency opened its doors in the iconic downtown building. CBH Insurance Agency is proud of our new location, and we are excited to be a part of something old and something new to the community.
